Software sales instead of process understanding
Others talk about functions, not about your real downtime, data paths and decision problems.
Ignition is a SCADA 4.0 platform that enables plants to collect, display, store and analyse machine data, and connect it to existing systems.
As a Gold-certified Ignition integrator, K2 turns it into the connection layer between equipment, controllers, databases, ERP, MES, Excel, reports and user interfaces.
Ignition can fill gaps in your software landscape: not as another isolated system, but as a data hub for incidents, KPIs, histories, alarms and analyses.
Our team comes from production, quality, operational technology, IT and operational management. We understand shift work, downtime, escalations, audit pressure and the question of why KPIs do not reflect the reality on the line.
Before we build, we understand your starting point: pain points, equipment, data sources, internal users and the state your team wants to reach.
The result: less time searching for data, faster root-cause analysis, a transparent cost framework before implementation, and a platform that can scale step by step with more lines, roles and sites.
Others talk about functions, not about your real downtime, data paths and decision problems.
Good in the workshop, but failing in shift work, responsibilities, old systems and real plant conditions.
Long alignment, many ideas, but no first area that quickly shows value.
Everything is touched at once, but the most important problem is not solved first.
Production, maintenance and management see the same facts: downtime, cause, impact and next step.
Ignition means unlimited clients, tags and connections, so your project can grow dynamically.
K2 connects plant, shift work, PLCs, databases, network, user rights and cybersecurity so information flows where it is needed.
From plant overview to downtime logic, from energy management to KPI dashboards.
Show lines, states and affected areas so teams understand the situation faster.
Connect PLCs, databases, ERP, MES, BDE and other systems so relevant data does not stay scattered.
Build alarms, messages and escalation paths that help classify downtime quickly.
Create evaluations for downtime, OEE, output, quality, energy and shift reporting.
Store machine states, process values and events so causes are easier to trace.
Support your employees so they can build and extend Ignition systems themselves.

Clarify → Test → Decide
You do not need to start with a large project. We first choose the right entry point, test value with low risk and clarify effort before implementation costs arise.
We start where pressure is highest: downtime, Excel, missing KPIs, troubleshooting or legacy systems.
With a free Ignition trial or test environment, we check whether data connection, views, alarms, history or KPIs fit your case.
Once value, effort and budget are understandable, you receive a concrete proposal for implementation and expansion.
We review with daily users whether views, messages and KPIs really help, then expand to more lines, assets, roles or sites.
We discuss plants, lines, existing systems, data sources, downtime and internal contacts. The entry can start small or include a larger target picture.
We show examples on demo systems so you can see what Ignition looks like in practice. Then we choose the right test case together.
You receive an understandable recommendation with approach, effort and budget. On that basis you decide whether we start together.
